SPECIAL COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
OCTOBER 11, 2004
A special meeting of the Menominee City Council, City of Menominee, County of Menominee, State of Michigan, was held Monday, October 11, 2004 at 10 a.m. in the Municipal Complex Council Chambers.
The Honorable George W. Krah called the meeting to order and led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
PRESENT: Council Members Fernstrum, Jasper, Plemel, Schloegel, and Sorensen; Mayor Krah
ABSENT: Council Members Hudon, Mick, and Organ
PRESENT: 6 ABSENT: 3
A motion was made by Council Member Fernstrum and seconded by Council Member Sorensen to excuse Council Members Hudon, Mick, and Organ from the meeting. This motion was carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Council Member Fernstrum and seconded by Council Member Jasper to approve the agenda for the meeting dated October 7, 2004. This motion was carried unanimously.
Mayor Krah opened the special meeting that he called for the purpose of considering the following agenda:
3) Acceptance of property from L.E. Jones to widen 34th Avenue.

Public comment.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Mayor Krah opened the public comment session that was called for the purpose of hearing citizen comments on agenda items only.
No one was heard.
A motion was made by Council Member Jasper and seconded by Council Member Mick to close the public comment session. This motion was carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Council Member Plemel and seconded by Council Member Fernstrum to accept property from L.E. Jones Company for the purpose of widening 34th Avenue.
AYES: Jasper, Krah, Plemel, Schloegel, Sorensen, and Fernstrum
NAYS: None
This motion was carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Council Member Plemel and seconded by Council Member Fernstrum to close the public comment session. This motion was carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Council Member Plemel and seconded by Council Member Jasper to adjourn the meeting. This motion was carried unanimously.
