CITY OF MENOMINEE, MICHIGAN

SPECIAL COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS

JUNE 12, 2006

A special meeting of the Menominee City Council, City of Menominee, County of Menominee, State of Michigan, was held Monday, June 12, 2006 at 8 a.m. in the Municipal Complex Council Chambers.

The Honorable George W. Krah called the meeting to order and led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

PRESENT: Council Members Fernstrum, Hudon, Jasper, Mick, Pintarelli, and Sorensen; Mayor Krah

ABSENT: Council Members Organ and Schloegel (both excused)

PRESENT: 7 ABSENT: 2

A motion was made by Council Member Sorensen and seconded by Council Member Hudon to excuse Council Members Organ and Schloegel. This motion was carried unanimously.

Mayor Krah opened the special meeting that he called for the purpose of considering the following agenda:

1) Pledge of allegiance to the flag.

2) Public comment.

3) The MIDC on the Fitness Matters RLF loan.

4) Adjourn.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Mayor Krah opened the public comment session that was called for the purpose of hearing citizen comments on agenda items only.

No one was heard.

A motion was made by Council Member Jasper and seconded by Council Member Mick to close the public comment session. This motion was carried unanimously.

COMMITTEE REPORT:

The MIDC reported that they had reviewed the Fitness Matters Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) loan and they recommended release of existing collateral in exchange for a $30,000 note with $5,000 to be paid immediately.

A motion was made by Council Member Sorensen and seconded by Council Member Hudon to adopt the foregoing report. This motion was carried unanimously.

ADJOURN:

A motion was made by Council Member Mick and seconded by Council Member Hudon to adjourn the meeting. This motion was carried unanimously.
